2012 Finn European Championship - Travel directions

By car
Exit the SS 1 Aurelia at SCARLINO and follow signs for Scarlino.  Go straight ahead and at the roundabout take the second exit sign for Scarlino. Cross Scarlino Scalo and keep straight until you find  a crossroad. Now keep the right following signs for CASTIGLIONE DELLA PESCAIA / PUNTALA . Drive for 6 km and at the traffic light turn left. In less than 100 meters turn right and follow signs for PORTO DI SCARLINO. In 300 meters you will reach the Marina.

By train
The closest railway station is FOLLONICA which is well connected to other main station such as Pisa, Genoa and Rome. For times and fares please visit www.trenitalia.com .
At the station you will have the chance to take a taxi or a bus. The bus will lead you to Puntone in about 10/15 minutes. It will drop you off at a traffic light (300 meters  away from the Marina), turn right and keep walking until you reach Club Nautico Scarlino.

By plane
The closest international airport is Galileo Galilei Airport in Pisa www.pisa-airport.com . It is only 1 hour and half away from Follonica and you can either rent a car or take a train. Another option is flying into Fiumicino (www.adr.it/fiumicino) or Ciampino (www.adr.it/ciampino ) airport near Rome. They both are 2 hours and half away from Follonica, but you will still be able to catch a train or use a car renting service.

By ship
You can either travel to Livorno (100 km) and reach Club Nautico Scarlino heading south or to Civitavecchia (160 km) and then head north.

The Club Nautico Scarlino has signed an agreement with the international carrier Grimaldi Lines.
All competitors will be able to enjoy special rates for travel via ferry from/to Spain (Civitavecchia from/to Barcellona; Livorno from/to Barcellona; Livorno from/to Valencia), between March 1st and March 31st 2012.
