Unfortunatelly, after the race 4 conditions were not sailing frendly at all. Wind was getting lower, continuously changing direction so only possible decision from race committee was to stop the racing. Race 4 was realy very tricky to sail, the wind was getting lower so judges had to shorten the race course. Alpha flag is up, competitors are coming back to land. On a 3rd day of European Championship 2015 we have pretty good sailing conditiones, there is up to 10 kts southern wind and it is a nice sunny day. As the weather forecast says, wind should picking up easily so we are expecting and hoping for 3 races today.

Arkadiy Kistanov (RUS) has taken the lead on the second day at the Finn European Championship in Split, Croatia, after only one late race was sailed in light winds. Andrew Murdoch (NZL) took the race win from Ivan Kljakovic Gaspic (CRO) and Ioannis Mitakis (GRE), who moves up to second overall, with Ed Wright (GBR) up to third overall.
Racing is off for today, the wind was getting weaker, unstable so RC decided to close the racing for today. Insted of the second race, sailors, coaches and all other participants are invited to join here in YC Labud on barbicue and beer. Due to low wind, up to 8 kts, sailing was challenging, so every mistake was hard to make it up.

Hi all, it is a second day of Finn Europeans 2015. Going out from YC Labud is scheduled for 13:30 h, and third race should start at 15:00h. Except of the sailing, today in the afternoon, after the races we have a small barbicue and beer party here in club, so don't miss it. For entertainment we have prepared the game: GUESS THE WINNER!
